Now a few years ago I had read book 2, Tombs of Atuan for a Children's Literature course. First book: A Wizard of Earthsea. It tells of how Ged goes from a boy to a powerful wizard. I know, I'm a total dork and I am totally dating myself but I must have seen every episode of this tv series a trillion times growing up and still find myself transfixed occasionally when I come across it on cable.
